Naked Queers Reading is a literary salon with a twist. Each NQR, a selection of diverse, queer readers will take to the stage and share a curated series of readings, chosen around a particular author or theme. These readers will also be completely naked.
For the inaugural NQR at Parkside Lounge - Wilde At Heart - we will be celebrating the works of the great queer Irish playwright, novelist and essay writer Oscar Wilde. Expect withering epigrams, sparkling prose and paeons to all that is beautiful. And some cute butts of course
Hosted and curated by Stefan Fae, NQR was inspired by the international hit Naked Girls Reading and our friends across the pond Naked Boys Reading, created by Dr Justin Hunt and Alexander Karotsch in London in 2012.
