NOBODY was more under the radar than Needles Jones (aka Ira Abramowitz), the self-proclaimed "drag pariah" and punk raconteur. Fittingly, a calvalcade of downtown NYC's brightest stars pay tribute to Needles at this sprawling nightlife event organized by wayward impresario Earl Dax as part of Under the Radar Festival. Hosted by Penny Arcade and Shane Shane, the evening features a live band, The Lesbian Tendencies (Viva DeConcini, Clara Latham and Tami Johnson), with performances by Taylor Mac, Machine Dazzle, Christeene, Raul de Nieves, Darrell Thorne, Dusty Childers, Enya Buttox, Tigger! and Gio Black Peter.
