“What’s the Tea” is edu-tainment at its silliest… and also probably it’s sexiest too. Blending burlesque, drag, live vocals and the diligent research of two type-A, gifted kid burnouts, this show will take you on a journey through the history of tea: where did it come from, why do we drink it, and who spilled it first. Anne Hinged and Vivien Rose work together to bring you insightful TED-style talks that will inspire you to start thinking about the history and botany of tea, as well as the linguistic origins of “tea.” This three segment show will feature bold performances, exciting lectures, and ample opportunities for audience talk back. Come horny for knowledge and thirsty for fun, and leave with a piping hot cup “What’s the Tea.”
